1/3

Yonge Street in Ontario was once believed to be the longest street in the world, stretching over 1,896 kilometres from downtown Toronto to the Minnesota border. It held a Guinness World Record for decades, thanks to its link with Highway 11.
Although Guinness retired the title in 1999 due to route changes, Yonge Street remains one of Canada’s most iconic roads. It reflects the country’s deep transportation roots and urban development, especially in Ontario.
This historic street is a part of Canada’s identity.
